I really liked this spot. Lots of space inside, and a very nice looking bar. There's a vibe here. Directly across the street from The Friendly Spot which always seems to be popping, QUESO PAN Y VINO seems like the perfect, slightly more upscale spot. I did not order much food - the charcuterie board was okay... as a snack 🤭 and although the drinks "felt" light their presentation was very nice. The staff were extremely pleasant. You may find parking challenging for the area.

This place truly excels in every aspect. The quality of the food, drinks, and service is outstanding, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into every detail. Owned by the same team behind Los Cuates, the restaurant delivers an experience that reflects both expertise and passion. The pizza was phenomenal—especially the El Pastor pizza, which stood out for its incredible flavor and perfectly balanced ingredients. The drinks were equally impressive, expertly crafted and spot-on. We also loved the charcuterie board, which featured a wonderful selection and showcased the restaurant’s commitment to high-quality ingredients. Although the atmosphere leans toward the upscale side, it still felt welcoming and comfortable for our whole family. My wife and I brought our kids, and they felt completely at ease and enjoyed the experience just as much as we did. We left genuinely impressed and already looking forward to our next visit when we’re back in San Antonio. This place is truly a hidden gem.

A chorizo pizza is hard to get right, but this place did it. And they do not play games with the cheese quality. This is legit. Reception/wait service was almost enough to drop this a point (it was not remotely busy), but I couldn’t do that to the incredibly positive busser. The Dragon Fruit M&M was a win for cocktails, but you can safely avoid the Kiwi Fresh.
